Directions to the Philadelphia Education Fund Central Office, located in the United Way Building

The central office of the Philadelphia Education Fund is located on the 7th Floor of the United Way Building at 17th and the Parkway in Philadelphia. This office houses the Ed Fund’s Executive Director, Program Directors, and Fundraising, Marketing and Finance functions. The Ed Fund shares this office with the National Writing Project.

By Car

From I-95 Southbound or Northbound take I-95 South to I-676 West. Take the Broad Street/Central Philadelphia exit. Proceed south on 15th Street to Cherry Street. Turn right onto Cherry Street, then right onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The United Way Building is located between 17th and 18th Streets on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

From Pennsylvania Turnpike

Take Exit 24 (Valley Forge/King of Prussia) to I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) Eastbound to I-676 (Vine Street Expressway). Take I-676 East to Broad Street/Central Philadelphia exit. Turn right on 15th Street and continue to Cherry Street. Turn right onto Cherry Street, then right onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The United Way Building is located between 17th and 18th Streets on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

From I-476 (Blue Route) Northbound or Southbound

Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) East to I-676 (Vine Street Expressway). Take I-676 to the Broad Street/Central Philadelphia exit. Turn right on 15th Street and continue to Cherry Street. Turn right onto Cherry Street, then right onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The United Way Building is located between 17th and 18th Streets on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

By SEPTA Regional Rail

Detrain at Suburban Station. Exit Suburban Station at 16th Street. Turn left onto 16th Street (northbound.) Proceed one block to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Turn left and follow to the United Way Building on the right side of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway between 17th and 18th Streets.

By AMTRAK

Detrain at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. Take taxi to 17th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The United Way Building is between 17th and 18th Streets on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Parking

Discounted parking is available to guests of the Ed Fund who park in the Patriot Parking Lot that takes up the block between 16th and 17th streets along Vine Street. The entrance to the lot is located at 17th and Vine Streets.

The discounted rate available at this lot is $5.00 for up to four hours of parking and $8.00 maximum. In order to receive the discount, park in the specified lot, receive your parking stub and leave your keys with the attendant. The receptionist or security guard at the United Way lobby level front desk will affix a sticker to the stub denoting that you were in the building to attend a meeting or event at the Ed Fund. The discount will be taken at the parking lot when the ticket is presented for payment.

Directions to the Philadelphia Education Fund College Access Centers

The Ed Fund runs three community-based College Access Centers where our staff of College Access Coordinators has offices from which they reach out to school-based participants and the general public. The Ed Fund is an operating partner of Graduate! Philadelphia, which shares our space in the Gallery College Access Center.
