Since 1990, the Ed Fund’s Philadelphia Scholars Program has awarded over $8,000,000 in college scholarships to graduates of Philadelphia public high schools!
The Philadelphia Scholars Program’s college scholarships are intended to fill the gap between students' financial aid and the real costs of college, such as travel expenses, books, supplies, computers and even graduation expenses. Since 1990, over 1,600 students have received a Philadelphia Scholars Program’s Last Dollar Scholarship and the average scholarship award has increased.
