On February 18th, representatives from the Ed Fund, Fleisher Art Memorial, Public Citizens for Children and Youth, the School District of Philadelphia, and members of the arts and cultural community were on hand for the official press launch for ArtsRising (formerly referred to as Arts for Children and Youth).
In addition to the unveiling of the new ArtsRising logo, Varissa McMickens was formally introduced as the Director of ArtsRising and the schools selected to participate in the inaugural ArtsZones were also announced.
