Daniel Schiff is a native of Atlanta and now a proud Philadelphia resident who believes that education is the key to opportunity, personal and societal growth, and equity.

Currently, he oversees Research, Evaluation, and Planning at the Philadelphia Education Fund. In this role, he leads the Ed Fund's research and policy work and helps steer programmatic approaches to teaching and learning, postsecondary opportunity, dropout prevention, and STEM education.

Prior to his work at the Ed Fund, Daniel worked as a researcher and consultant for Operation Public Education at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on large-scale urban education reform.

Daniel studied philosophy and artificial intelligence at Princeton University before obtaining his M.S. in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
