The Philadelphia Math + Science Coalition is looking for volunteers to share their knowledge and love of math and science with students in the School District of Philadelphia.
If you are working in or have retired from a math or science related field, here is your chance to inspire student interest in math and science, motivate students to study math and science, and connect with students and get them excited about math and science.
Throughout the year, we invite volunteers to assist with science fairs and serve as teacher resources while sharing your professional passions with students. You can join us for a single day, for multiple days, or even pursue extended partnerships with a teacher or class.
Becoming a volunteer is easy. All you need to do is complete a registration form, participate in a brief orientation session, and submit a state-required background check. It’s easy, and we’ll help.
