Create a Scholarship Fund

Established in 1990, PEF’s Philadelphia Scholars Program supports low-income students with a gap-filling, last-dollar scholarship. Each year, the program awards over $500,000 in scholarship aid to more than 130 students. Yet, the need continues to outpace our ability to meet it.

To learn more about how you can create a scholarship and help us meet the needs of students, contact Emily Jordan.

Planned Giving

Leave a lasting legacy with a planned gift to the PEF and our Philadelphia Scholars Endowed Scholarship. Your gift is a critical investment in the futures of generations to come. To learn more, contact Emily Jordan, Director of Development.

Sponsor PEF’s 40th Anniversary Gala

Join us for a special evening celebrating 40 years of impact with the Philadelphia Education Fund. This milestone gala will bring together leaders from across the city to celebrate what we’ve built—and look ahead to what’s possible for Philadelphia students.

As a sponsor, you’ll receive meaningful visibility and guest benefits, while showing your commitment to the next generation. Your support helps power the programs that prepare students for success in college, career, and life.

Underwrite an Event

PEF events range from college and career field trips, summer work internships, financial aid and FAFSA pop-up workshops, teacher professional development, college and career fairs, our Education First Compact monthly speaker series, and four college planning intensives targeting high school ninth through 12th graders.

Your support helps to defray the costs associated with producing one or more of these successful annual events.

Endow a Scholarship

Established in 1990, PEF’s Philadelphia Scholars Endowed Scholarship Program supports low-income students with a gap-filling, last-dollar scholarship. Each year, the program awards $500,000 in scholarship aid to more than 130 students. Yet, the need continues to outpace our ability to meet it.

To learn more about how you can endow a scholarship and help us meet the needs of students, contact Allison Kelsey, Senior Manager, Philadelphia Scholars Program.
