What We Do
PhillyGoes2College is PEF’s online college access solution. Through this online platform, students lacking the necessary supports in their school or home can gain access to critical college advising and counseling resources.
I AM PHL Creative Contest
Philadelphia high school students have a unique opportunity to show off their one-of-a-kind talent to win one-of-a-kind prizes through the 2026 I AM PHL contest presented by PhillyGoes2College in partnership with Wawa Welcome America.
Contest Categories & Prizes
Philly students are encouraged to submit original works in one of three categories – music, visual art, or spoken word – that reflect on where the city has been and where it is going next, set against the backdrop of the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. Students’ work will be seen by judges at the forefront of Philadelphia’s creative fields and one winner in each submission category will receive a $1,000 cash prize, the chance to be seen at the Wawa Welcome America Festival, and more!

Overview
Visitors to PhillyGoes2College.org are able to access helpful tips, college advising resources, and details on upcoming workshops, college and career fairs, and financial aid pop-up events. From the individual working towards his or her GED or high school diploma, to the high school student applying to college for the first-time, or the adult who is committed to finishing the college journey that they put on hold, PhillyGoes2College is here to serve.
