The Philadelphia Education Fund welcomes Rachel Gerberick as the new CAP Coordinator for Kensington Creative & Performing Arts High School (KCAPA). Rachel is excited to work with the students at KCAPA, guide them through their post-secondary decisions, and create equitable opportunity for all students, which has been one of her passions throughout her career.
Rachel graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology. She then wanted to experience city life and moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University where she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and gained certification as a K-12 school counselor. At Temple, she piloted one of their college access programs, Temple Education Scholars.
