Emily Jordan

Director of Development

Emily Jordan serves as the Director of Development at the Philadelphia Education Fund (PEF), where she leads the organization’s fundraising strategy and efforts to support programs that expand educational opportunities for Philadelphia students.

Prior to joining PEF, Emily was the Vice President of Development at Philadelphia Youth Basketball, where she oversaw the fundraising and marketing departments, supported the organization’s strategic planning, and led the capital campaign for the Alan Horwitz Sixth Man Center. Over four years, she helped the organization more than double its annual budget from $3 million to $8 million. Earlier in her career, Emily worked as an educator in the School District of Philadelphia, where she developed her passion for education and youth empowerment.

A first-generation college student, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Temple University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Holy Family University. She currently serves on Temple University’s Alumni Board for the College of Education and Human Development, the Associates Council of Let’s Get Ready, and is a member of the Leadership Philadelphia program.
