The last week in June, over twenty graduates from our College Access Program convened on campus at the Community College of Philadelphia for PEF’s CCP Launch program. These newly minted HS graduates are now a few steps closer to successfully matriculating to college this fall!
With the help of PEF and CCP Staff, students made FAFSA fixes, scoped out their financial aid, investigated potential majors, met college staff, corrected enrollment errors, were vetted for Catto Scholarships, and some even obtained their college ID cards. Plus, they enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and ice-breaker activities, which provided an opportunity for students to connect and network with fellow CCP Lions.
This program is designed to put the ice on summer melt and setup high school grads for success as they launch their college journeys.
