Established at the Ed Fund in conjunction with the College Access Program in 1990, the Philadelphia Scholars program promotes college access and success. The program awards "Last Dollar Scholarships" for undergraduate study to graduates of 22 public neighborhood high schools across Philadelphia. Since the program's inception, more than 1,800 Philadelphia high school students have received Last Dollar Scholarships, totaling over $8 million. These scholarships have allowed recipients to attend more than 60 different colleges and universities across the country.
