Barriers to Bridges: Teacher Perspectives on Accelerating Learning, Leadership, and Innovation in the Pandemic

Free
Virtual Event
Join us at the October session of PEF’s Education First Compact and hear the struggles and successes articulated by more than 500 teachers, across 25 states, as captured in “Barriers to Bridges,” a teacher-driven research project conducted by Teach Plus.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced schools to close. And, it forced teachers to pivot from in-classroom to remote learning; to learn new ways of supporting students’ social and emotional needs; and to innovate approaches to support the growth and learning of all students.

Given the current challenges and uncertainty, how are we to best educate students? What do teachers have to tell us? What perspectives might they share? How might schools emerge stronger from this crisis?
