Last Chance This Month!
For adult supporters of youth experiencing foster/kinship care including school counselors, social workers, case managers, foster parents, or other education leaders, PEF invites you to learn about the Fostering College Readiness program, an initiative of the Philadelphia Education Fund and the Brook J. Lenfest Foundation.
The 100% cost-free program offers one-on-one college and financial aid programming, exclusive scholarship access, and direct pipelines to on-campus supports for Philadelphia high school juniors and seniors experiencing foster/kinship care.
After the information session, there will be an opportunity to discuss options for in-person school visits this fall to assist system-involved youth with the process of applying to college and for the federal, state, and institutional financial aid to which they are entitled.
