The Philadelphia Education Fund is pleased to invite you to Instructional Rounds at Swenson Arts & Technology High School on Wednesday, December 7^th, from 8am-1:30pm. Instructional Rounds, inspired by the concept of ‘rounds’ in the medical field, is designed to break down isolation between secondary and postsecondary instruction through non-evaluative visits to each other’s classrooms. Instructional Rounds brings high school and college educators together to refine their practice as informed by this observation and accompanying debrief. The aim: to bridge the gaps between teaching and learning across high school and college. This year’s focus area will be on increasing student motivation, participation, and academic accountability.
