STEM Fellows Program Professional Development Opportunity Deadline 1/13
PEF’s Middle/High Afterschool STEM Fellows Program is a professional development series designed for Middle and High School District of Philadelphia staff who work in public schools and wish to take after school programs from concept to execution. We are seeking individuals who wish to enhance an existing or create a new afterschool program to work directly with students. PEF’s McKinney Center for STEM Education will offer hands-on learning, peer support, and resources during this six-week virtual program, beginning January 31st.
Program outcomes include a network of peers from whom participants can receive feedback and support, knowledge of existing resources and content knowledge to design and implement programming, and finally, a capstone project where staff outline in detail their programming using our nuts and bolts template.
The deadline to submit an application, available through this link, is January 13th, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact Shubha Sarode, STEM Professional Development & Curriculum Manager at ssarode@philaedfund.org.
